Interview

The social challenges of longevity

Alongside Irene Lebrusán Murillo, PhD in Sociology, we are investigating the manifold challenges involved in greater life expectancy in contemporary society. If we wish to avoid age-based discrimination and inequality, we urgently need to promote lives that are healthy and inclusive from start to finish. This means we need to ensure not just quality of life for the elderly, but also the well-being of society as a whole.
