Connect Call: from research to the social sector - 4rd edition

The Connect Call funds joint research projects between universities and third sector or public administration organisations.
 

WHAT WE SEEK

  • The call is aimed at universities, research centres and organisations in the social sector in Spain. 

  •  These organisations must form a consortium to promote a research project with a common goal. 

  • New! The proposals submitted must study a topic of social impact in Spain from the social sciences angle.

  • The projects funded will commence in September 2025 and will last for 24 months. 

     

WE ARE OFFERING

  • Each project selected will receive a grant of up to €90,000 (including taxes, indirect costs, and royalties).
     


WHO CAN APPLY

  • A minimum of one organisation from each field and a maximum of four organisations in total are required.  

  • Research field:

    • Universities

    • Organisations linked to a university

    • Organisations registered as research centres in a public register

    • Organizations that include research in their statutes

  • Practice field:

    • Third social sector organizations, including second-level or higher organisations.

    • Public administrations or other local, supra-municipal, regional or state public organisations.

    Important: in order to participate in the networking sessions, it is essential to register in advance, at least one week before the session.

  • Networking session 17 September
    From 12 noon to 1.30 p.m

  • Networking session 3 October
    From 12 noon to 1.30 p.m

  • Submission of applications: from 23 October to 27 November 2024 at 2:00 p.m. (Central European Time).

  • Resolution of the call: May 2025.
