Flash Call to support research projects based on quantitative surveys (FS25-1B)

The Social Observatory of the "la Caixa" Foundation is opening a call to support research projects in the social sciences based on new, quantitative-based research, with the aim of studying society as a whole, as well as the social impacts of a given phenomenon.
OBJECTIVES
We are seeking research based on original quantitative surveys regarding phenomena of social relevance in Spain, which are capable of generating new data, beyond those that already exist.
The research must generate quantitative evidence. Complementary qualitative data can also be collected.
The survey must be carried out based on a representative sample of the population studied. It can be conducted by phone, online or in person.
WE OFFER
A maximum grant of 35,000 euros per project (including all taxes and indirect expenses).
WE REQUIRE
The university or research centre of the grant recipient to sign a research agreement with the "la Caixa" Foundation.
Quantitative surveys to be contracted to a public opinon research company and to comply with all methodological guarantees.
The research (from hypothesis to conclusions) to be completed within 12 months.
WHO CAN APPLY
The call is open to proposals led by researchers of any nationality who conduct their activity at universities, research centres, or private non-profit organisations dedicated to research and based in Spain.
CALENDAR
Submission deadline: Proposals can be submitted until 14:00 (UTC) on 3 April 2025.
Proposals must be submitted through the online platform enabled for this purpose (http://grants.lacaixafoundation.org/). Applications received through other channels will not be accepted.
