Call for Reflection on Social Challenges 2026-2027

The "la Caixa" Foundation's Social Observatory Call for Reflection supports initiatives aimed at reflection, debate, and the generation of knowledge around the main social challenges of today.
Its objective is to back projects that promote the exchange of perspectives between different social agents and contribute to a better understanding of social challenges, generate well-founded proposals, and promote social transformation.
WE ARE SEEKING
Projects that develop processes of reflection and dialogue on some of the major social challenges of the call.
Initiatives that promote exchange between social, academic, and institutional agents to generate knowledge and proposals for action.
Projects that help to strengthen the capacities of the participating organisations and sharing the learning obtained with other social agents.
The projects must address at least one of the following thematic areas:
Inequality, well-being and social cohesion
Health, care and life cycle
Social and demographic transformations
Governance, democracy and the global context
Technological and environmental transitions
WE ARE OFFERING
A financial grant of up to 10,000 euros for the development of activities involving reflection, debate, and the exchange of ideas.
A methodological framework and support during the development of the project.
The spaces, facilities, and resources of the "la Caixa" Foundation for carrying out the activities.
Support in the dissemination, visibility, and enhancement of activities and their results.
