Government expenditure on culture as a percentage of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and of Total Public Expenditure

This indicator quantifies the effort that the Government makes in cultural matters. It is presented in relation with two of the main aggregate values of the economy: the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and Total Public Spending.

Expenditure on culture is considered as spending assigned to cultural services and media.
